How to use
Always pre-test in an inconspicuous location for substrate sensitivity to chemicals. Observe all safety directions and read the SDS before use.
Dilutions
Portable Extractors
- Mix 12ml / 10Lt (1:800) when cleaning wool and stain resistant carpets or where the two-step process is used.
- Mix 25ml / 10Lt (1:400) for heavy soil conditions using the single-step process.
Truck Mounted Extractors
- Mix 250ml per 10Lt water to make the truck mount concentrate.
- Set the flow meter at 2 to 4 gallons per hour for cleaning wool and stain resistant carpets or where the two step process is used (prespray followed by rinse extract).
- Set the flow meter at 4 to 8 gallons per hour for heavy soil conditions using the single step process.
Application
Single-step cleaning method.
(Light to medium soiling)
- Prepare the carpet by thoroughly vacuuming the area to be cleaned.
- Using the dilution rates specified above clean/extract the carpet or upholstery fabric using slightly overlapping strokes.
- Apply protector if required.
- Realign the carpet or upholstery fabric fibres and assist the drying process.
Two-step cleaning method.
(Medium to heavy soiling)
- Prepare the carpet by thoroughly vacuuming the area to be cleaned and applying the relevant prespray treatment, providing the suggested dwell time and agitation.
- Using the dilution rates specified above, rinse extract the carpet or upholstery fabric using slightly overlapping strokes.
- Apply protector if required.
- Realign the carpet or upholstery fabric fibres and assist the drying process.
Notes:
Move the wand slower over areas which are more heavily soiled.
Use a dry stroke to dry the carpet faster.
