Surface Preparation

Surface preparation can vary greatly depending on the condition of the floor, desired appearance/level of gloss and the type of surface. The following are typical guidelines:

Micron Polish for Stone ( for high shine)
Grind, Hone and Polish the stone wet using NeverStrip Diamond Encrusted Pads (Coarse, Hon, Satin and Shine) with a 175-rpm floor machine (weighted is best), as needed to achieve desired appearance. Pick up wet slurry between steps.

Micron Polish for Terrazzo
Same as stone

Micron Polish for Concrete
Grind and Hone the concrete dry using a planetary grinder with metal bonded diamond tooling followed by resin-bonded tooling. Typically, 80 grit and then 100 grit metal bonded tooling is followed by 100, 200 and possibly 400-grit resin bonded tooling. Remove dust between steps. Please note-a planetary grinder may also be used on natural stone and terrazzo, especially for larger projects.

Existing Polished Floors
Stone, Terrazzo and Concrete Seal may be applied onto existing polished stone, terrazzo and concrete flooring. Typically, NeverStrip recommends a grinding, honing or polishing the surface at a Grit level at least one or two-grit steps below the existing surface. For example, if the floor is polished to an 800-grit, then hone the surface with a 200 or 400-grit resin disc or diamond encrusted pad prior to applying the Stone, Terrazzo and Concrete Seal.

Application

1. Lightly shake
2. No mixing, close container tightly after use.
3. Lightly spray Micron Primer or Stone,Terrazzo and Concrete
4. Seal onto a looped NeverStrip provided microfiber pad to moisten the pad. Then, spray a fine mist of product onto the flooring surface and spread the product evenly and thinly across a 20 sq ft section (4′ x 5′) and repeat the process.
5. The Micron Primer is used prior to the Stone, Terrazzo and Concrete Seal to seal a porous surface, such as a surface honed at 400-grit or lower or a porous stone such as limestone.

More Micron thin applications are best versus fewer heavy applications

Interior use only
Do not allow product to come in contact with gloss, fabric, metal or painted surfaces.
Do not apply cleaners or products containing Butyl, Citrus or Di-limonene.
Read and follow Product Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheets carefully.
Keep dry for 24 hours after application.
