21st Century Micron Vinyl Floor Primer
NeverStrip Micron Prime™ is applied prior to NeverStrip Vinyl Seal™ to enhance the shine and depth of appearance of the System on vinyl composition tile (VCT). Typically, two or three applications of Micron Primer are desired with burnishing with a white pad following each coat.
NeverStrip Vinyl Seal is then applied and burnished to achieve a completed system.

Characteristics

Surface Preparation
Remove any floor finish from the floor and/or clean the floor and let it dry, removing soil, marks, grease, etc. Tack the floor with a tack cloth.
Application
- Shake Micron Prime before use.
- Micron Prime should be lightly sprayed onto a looped Actichem supplied microfiber pad to make the pad damp. Then, lightly spray the product onto the clean floor in sections, typically 1 m x 1.5 m to 1.5m x 2m. Spread the product evenly with the damp microfiber pad within the section. Move from section to section with overlapping to avoid skips.
- Allow Micron Prime to dry for typically 10-15 minutes. A fan may be helpful with higher humidity to aid the drying. Do not point the fan directly onto the floor within the first 5 minutes.
- Burnish after each application with a 1,500 rpm or greater burnishing machine using a soft white burnishing pad.
- 2-3 thin applications of Micron Prime are typical.
