How to remove stains from carpet

Fresh Stains on Carpet

All stains under 7 days old (except chewing gum, bitumen, blue tack)

PRODUCTS

Conquer
Conquer is an exceptional stain remover for carpets and upholstery, effective on a wide range of water-based and oily stains. It features anti-resoiling encapsulation technology and focuses on fibre care. Utilising the latest polymer and surfactant technology, Conquer consistently delivers impressive results.

EQUIPMENT

To remove fresh stains from carpet & upholstery, you will need:
• Carpet spotting brush.
• White terry towel.

PROCESS

  1. Apply Solution
    Spray apply the Actichem Conquer to the stain, making sure the fibers are completely wetted out.
  2. Agitate Stain
    Agitate the stain by tamping up and down with a spotting brush to maximize penetration.
  3. Blot
    Blotting with a white terry towel will improve results.
  4. Allow to dry
    No rinse is required. Allow to dry for 24-48hours.
    Maintenance dry vacuuming will remove the dry chemical and stain residues.

User Safety
Actichem Conquer is a very safe product to use, however it is always advised to wear gloves when spot cleaning. Avoid contact with eyes.

Fibre Safety

Actichem Conquer is safe for use on all fibres and fabrics. However, delicate fibres can be discoloured by being overwet, so take care. Furthermore it is advised to pretest when spotting delicate fibres to check for chemical sensitivity and colour fastness.

Old & Stubborn Stains On Carpet

Old stains and gums may require additional treatment.

Citrus Gel
Chewing gum, bitumen, blue tack, paint

EQUIPMENT

To remove old and stubborn stains from carpet & upholstery, you will need:
• Carpet spotting brush.
• White terry towel.

PROCESS

Coffee, wine, cola, beverages, food
  1. Apply Solution
    Spray apply the Actichem Conquer O2 to the stain, making sure the fibers are completely wetted out.
  2. Agitate Stain
    Agitate the stain by tamping up and down with a spotting brush to maximize penetration.
  3. Extract or Blot
    Blotting with a white terry towel will improve results. Some severe stains might require flushing with the spotting machine.

    Apply the Citrus Gel to the stain, making sure the fibers are completely wetted out.
  2. Agitate Stain
    Agitate the stain to loosen the gum, bitumen or paint.
  3. Extract or Blot
    Blotting with a white terry towel. Some severe stains might require flushing with the spotting machine.
  4. Apply Conquer
    Apply Conquer and blot with a terry towel to remove chemical and stain residues.
  5. Allow to dry
    No rinse is required. Allow to dry for 24-48hours. Maintenance dry vacuuming will remove the dry chemical and stain residues.

Conquer O2 is a powerful stain remover for carpets and upholstery that also kills germs and eliminates odors. It combines the oxidizing power of oxygen with wetting agents and encapsulating polymers to tackle the toughest stains. Utilizing the latest polymer and surfactant technology, Conquer O2 consistently delivers reliable and dependable results.

NOTE:
The Conquer O2 also has powerful sanitising action against microorganisms found in body fluids

EQUIPMENT

To remove large spills from carpet & upholstery, you will need:
• Carpet spotting brush.
• White terry towel.

PROCESS

Coffee, wine, cola, beverages, food
  1. Apply Solution
    Spray apply the Actichem Conquer O2 to the stain, making sure the fibers are completely wetted out. If the spill has penetrated deep into the carpet ensure that sufficient solution is applied to reach it.
  2. Agitate Stain
    Agitate the stain by tamping up and down with a spotting brush to maximize penetration.
  3. Dwell
    Allow 10 minutes dwell time.
  4. Extraction
    Rinse extract the carpet with a spotting machine.
  5. Shadow Removal
    If there is a shadow left, apply Conquer O2 and absorb or vacuum (no water) extract excess moisture, leaving the treated area slightly damp with Conquer O2. The oxidising and encapsulating action of Conquer O2 will continue to work over the next few hours as it dries completely, removing the remaining stain.
  6. Residual Removal
    The dry Conquer O2 residues will be brittle enough to be removed the next time the carpet is vacuumed.
