RD Weis renews contract to refresh flooring for financial institution with 1,100 locations in 14 states, thanks to NeverStrip.

A large financial institution with 1,100 branches throughout the Northeast & Midwest needed a cost effective solution for their “back of the house” flooring. They had already made a significant investment in refurbishing the “client facing” areas of their branches, and wanted an innovative way to refresh their employee break room and restroom floors without replacing the flooring. The corporate Facilities Managers turned to RD Weis for their expertise in floor care maintenance. After an extensive evaluation, RD Weis recommended NeverStrip’s Micron Sealers.

The Micron Sealers offered a unique value-add solution for the client since, unlike acrylics, the Sealers would never yellow, were impenetrable to dirt and thus never needed to be stripped again. After a very successful test pilot, the financial institution signed a 3-year contract in 2019 with RD Weis to service 800 of their traditional branch offices.

After the first couple of hundred branch floors were cleaned and sealed, the client was so happy with RD Weis’s work that they expanded the contract to include an additional 300 “in-store” locations and renewed the contract for an additional 3 years.
