How does Actichem support conservation efforts?

Our commitment to the environment extends well beyond responsibly green cleaning products. Actichem actively supports conservation. By partnering with conservation groups, we strive to make a genuine difference in the fight against extinction and pollution. Actichem not only provides financial support, but we also actively drive awareness through our animal awareness program and our Ocean+Earth CleanUp days.

In the Actichem Responsibly Green range their are currently 10 products. We have associated each product with a specific species of endangered animal, to draw attention to the plight of some of the worlds most amazing creatures.

The product associated with the Mountain Gorilla, is the Responsibly Green Forest Fresh.

Why did we choose to associate the Gorilla with Forest Fresh?

We teamed up the Gorilla with our Responsibly Green Forest Fresh for obvious reasons. Whenever we think of Gorillas, we think of the forests that are their natural habitat. Without forests, survival becomes almost impossible for the Gorilla. The forest provides food, shelter and the all essential moisture that these amazing creatures need to survive.
Growing up in Johannesburg South Africa, the story of Max the Gorilla, is something that we always remember. Max was attacked by an escaping fugitive and was critically injured after being shot by the fugitive. Max made a remarkable recovery and went on to become a national hero. Read about Max here
