Why did we choose to associate the Hippopotamus with Toilet Cleaner?

One unique feature of the Hippo, is its incredible dung spreading ability. Usually this job is left for the male hippos, which make sure to get their message across. The reason why they do this, is, so that when an outsider comes too close, he can smell that he is coming into someone else’s territory and can make a decision if he wants to compete or to retreat and go back on his way. This rather special characteristic of the Hippo, made it the obvious choice to partner with the Responsibly Green Toilet Cleaner.
