Graffiti treatments

March 6th, 2019 | Stone & Tile

What is the best treatment for my application?

When protecting a porous surface from potential graffiti attacks, it should be noted at the start that “penetrating sealer anti-graffiti treatments” are much more limited than their “coating, film-forming” counterparts. However, the benefits of the penetrating sealer options are:

  1. Invisible protection
  2. The substrate remains vapour permeable
  3. Protection lasts substantially longer

The unique characteristics of each of the Actichem graffiti resistant sealers, is outlined clearly below:

Graffiti Seal (AP173)

Graffiti Repel (AP174)

Intense (AP178)
  • Suitable for use on both dense and open pore stones
  • On dense granite, Intense can be thinned with Xylene 1:1 for easier application and enhanced penetration
  • Enhances and darkens the stone features
  • Provides outstanding protection against graffiti
