Colloidal Boost – Can it be used as a prespray?
Colloidal Boost (pronounced “CO – LLOYD – AL”) Is a product with amazing potential. Aside from being a powerful booster, when added to your prespray solution, it can in some instances, be used as a stand alone prespray. The major benefits of using it in this way, are mainly health related. Colloidal Boost contains no solvents and no carcinogens. It has zero VOC’s (great for asthmatics and allergy sufferers), is neutral in pH, totally non-hazardous according to the criteria of NOHSC and SUSMP and only uses emulsifiers from natural feedstock.
The only major limitation with using Colloidal Boost as a stand alone prespray, is foam. Foaminess shouldn’t be an issue on the majority of jobs but some low pile carpets could give you problems. It works so well because the chemistry has the unique ability to loosen and suspend oily/particulate dirt which is embedded deep inside the carpet fibre. This is obviously not an issue with hard surface cleaning but is HUGE with carpet cleaning. It also has powerful stain removal action on tannins which helps improve the general appearance of the carpet.
